This station is located at the original Tanshui line of Taiwan railroad; Mingde, Shipai, Qilian three stations are 2-story above ground structure with station hall at 1st floor and the island platform at 2nd floor; the roof is designed as the traditional Chinese circace reverse curved style. Kung Sing has invested great fortune to order steel mold to form girder to accelerate the production for the pre-stress concrete box precasted track girder ( to reach the highest record of 25 girders a month ); in addition, Kung Sing has applied the revolutionary dual constructed VT system precast girder elevated launching method from Australia which made this project be completed by the limited contract completion date.
