This project section is located within Fenglin Township and Guangfu Township, Hualien County, extending from Provincial Highway 9 at kilometer marker 231+649 to 232+798, with a total length of approximately 1,149 meters. The project involves the reconstruction of the existing Matai'an River Bridge at its original site. Major works include road construction, bridge construction, retaining walls, drainage, landscaping, planting, traffic signals, traffic management, highway lighting, and related ancillary works such as traffic control, safety and sanitation, and environmental protection.
